This single volume boasts of being a simplified approach to learning the basics of Word 2003, and it lives up to expectations. All of the instructions give actual "snapshots" of the computer screen and computer menus to show how to execute various commands. This book gives the basics of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Publisher.

This is the manual that SHOULD have come with Office 2003. It gets to the point quickly and easily. Makes learning all of the many many functions of Office 2003 much easier. In just the first 3 chapters I picked up several "new" hints to make my work with Office 2003 much easier. A MUST for all Office users.

This book is easy to read and as a simplified version it got the job done, but it was not enjoyable in the least. I hate to say it about a book, but I did not enjoy it. However, if you are having difficulty with Office 2003 or are like me and needed it for a Gen Ed, it will get the job done and give you everything you could need.

I bought Office 2003 Simplified for my college class. I found it to be extremely helpful with refreshing my memory on Excel. Gives step by step instructions on how to navigate through the office programs. I would definitely recommend the book to those who need a refresher course on the programs as well as anyone who is new or computer illiterate.

This material was perfect for my computer class, it has been one of the best books I have seen that actually breaks down Microsoft Office for everyone. It does not only tell you how to do it, but instead shows you. Awsome graphics, great way to get to know the programs we use everyday better.

The "Simplified Books" are always a good resourse Book!! Easy to read and understand "how to" book. Best investment you can make for us older computer generation!

If you are short on time and you need to know your way around Office 2003 applications fast, you can't beat this easy to use beginner's book. I actually use it to teach high school students an introductory course about business applications.

I love this book. It's a great review book for the MS Office Suite, plus you are likely to learn something new--I did. It is very, very easy to get through.

I have used Office 2003 for quite some time, but knew there were better ways to do some things and other things I didn't know how to do. This book has a vast amount of information, presented in SIMPLE terms with examples & color on every page. It makes "dry" material more readable and makes QUICK work of learning details about Office 2003. I will buy other Visual books!

I purchased this textbook for my wife, even though she has experience with Office she learned a few new things. Know my son is starting to use it for his education. My rating is based on the images and simplicity of explanation.
