The chair is solid - lots of metal in used in all key structural points, and a double layer of thick plastic in the one point that isn't. Judging by the construction and design, I doubt this thing will ever break on me (unlike so many other office chairs I've seen lately).
Ideal comfort for a person like me - I like a solid chair that sits high and upright, which this chair can do. The leather seat is firm but comfortable, and the mesh back is stretched tight for good support while breathing nicely. The leather around the mesh is a nice distinction from the typical bare plastic frame on most mesh chairs, but isn't of much consequence in terms of comfort.
Don't buy this if you're looking for a ERGOMG-chair with a ridiculous number of adjustable features. The only things that adjust without using a tool of some sort are the chair height, lumbar support height, and amount of force needed to lean back.
Do consider buying this if you want something well constructed, comfortable (as described above), and not excessively expensive.

When I first received the chair, I figured it would take a few days of heavy use to break in. Unfortunately, it never got more comfortable, and after about four months, the webbing started ripping out of the seams. The staples that held the webbing in slid out and drew blood a couple times from my side. I contacted the reseller (Paper Clips Inc.) and they were more than happy to have the backing replaced. The backing showed up from the manufacturer in just a couple days, and I was back to being able to use the chair for a few more months until the other side of the webbing on the back piece started doing the same thing. Paper Clips was on the spot again to get another replacement. Sure, I'll do this a third time. So here I am, three backings and 8 months later with the backing coming out of the seams again. I'm requesting a solid backing from the manufacturer if available and not, the option to exchange the chair for an equal or lesser valued chair (or pay the difference for something that cost more).
In case a reader is wondering, I'm 220lbs which is pretty average for a guy that's 6'2" tall. I have also been using a chair from a different manufacturer in the office that also has a webbed back without issues for nearly five years, so I would expect a chair of this price to hold up nearly as well.

My husband is 6ft 4inches - tough to shop for and had a terrible chair which had what APPEARED to be padding, but when you sat down, it basically went straight down as if the padding wasn't there. I myself work in an office with incredible chairs that run par with aero - in price and support, so when I went looking for a chair to replace his, I was looking for something of similar quality or perhaps just a touch down, but not much.
This chair, though not quite as great as my work chair, sure is a close second. He is able to adjust the headrest to fit the curve of his neck and the bottom half of his head, the back support piece is easily adjustable and even after a few months of use, the cushion is still just as supportive as it was when we bought it. My husband, at first, wasn't sure about it because he sat a little higher than he was used to, even at its lowest setting, but after a day of use, he got over that and now raves about the chair. It was a VERY good buy.
