I just got this chair the other day and so far it's been very comfortable. No squirming around to try and get comfortable like in my old chair, and it has good back support. Assembly was also very easy. The pricetag might seem a bit much to some people, and to be honest it was to me as well, but in the end I am very happy with the purchase.

My old dependable cheap task chair was finally giving it up as it neared 10 years in age. I was wooed by one of those high back comfy looking leather office chairs and bought it. A while after getting the new chair I noticed my legs were bugging me at the end of the day. It didn't take me too long to figure out it was the new chair getting to me over time. No matter how I changed how I sat it didn't get better so I decided to get a new chair. I looked at many chairs before deciding to get this one. I couldn't find many reviews but figured I'd take a chance with it.

The chair came in pieces in a big box. Just like any other chair I have had. The hardware however was in a blister pack like one might find a matchbox car in. The pieces were divided by purpose and clearly labeled on the cardboard backing. I thought that was very nice and it also included the Allen wrench needed to put it all together. My other chairs just came with all the hardware thrown in a bag and sealed. This was one of the quickest and easiest chairs I have ever put together. I was very happy with how it went together. My comfy looking office chair was so hard to assemble it made me want to go out and kick my neighbors dog, and he didn't even do anything wrong.

When I was putting the chair together I was worried about the back. The plastic felt very stiff and I was thinking great this is going to be horrible. In use though it doesn't feel hard and flexes just enough to feel comfortable. You can also lock and unlock the back in the upright position or in several other positions along the way to its full reclining position. In addition to that adjustment you can also adjust the back tension, seat height, and armrest height.

The armrest material feels slightly padded but durable. The seat cushion is foam covered by several layers of offset mesh material. If you use the chair in a very dirty environment or eat in the chair a lot it may be a problem but not in a regular home office environment. I guess have a Dustbuster on standby if you eat on the chair so you don't grind stuff down into it. Time will tell how the seat cushion wears and I am sure it will be the first part to show wear. Overall though this chair feels like a step up in materials over your regular cheap office chair.

Sitting in this chair feels pretty good to me. The back feels as comfy and the seat 3/4 as comfy as my standard Aeron chair at work. My legs don't bother me anymore, I knew it was that other evil chair. I'm a couple of weeks into ownership and I am happy with my purchase and all signs seem to indicate that I will continue to be.
