If you need to punch a few holes in a few pieces of paper, this is probably the best value. I have both this OIC and its Swingline cousin (which is a little bit pricier). This is the better hole punch.

However, if you need to do more than punch holes in your six-page term paper, I'd highly recommend spending another $10 and getting the 20-page MATMP3 puncher for $16. It's so much easier to use and easier on the hands, too.

After punching through 100 pages with this OIC model, your hands will hurt and your forearms will ache and you will rue the day you saved ten bucks by buying this cheaper model.

Obviously it serves its purpose. One drawback is that the hole punch has ends or sides on each end so you can only punch 8x11 inch paper that has NOT been laminated. This was the specific reason for my purchase of this product.

Product seems well built. No problems with jamming to this point. Will handle a few sheets at a time without any issues.
