I purchased this item as a compromise. I wanted an aluminum form holder, but didn't want to spend the big bucks on one. This one seemed to have what I wanted, and looked sturdy enough (for plastic). However, when I received it, I was very disappointed. It isn't as sturdy as I thought, and the pencil holder door flaps open if the form holder is set down just right. The door also flips open sometimes when carrying the form holder. The two-shelf system inside is barely adequate. The top shelf can't handle much weight at all, or it will not snap closed, but will fall open each time the form holder is opened. All in all, a pretty sad piece of plastic! I'm using it, but I'm sure it won't be more than a few months, and I'll be needing to find another one . . . this time NO COMPROMISE! The replacement will be metal.

Being in home healthcare, I use this product every day. I used the product a little over a week and the pen/pencil holder broke off. It was only held on by 2 small plastic tabs. During the whole time, every time you touched the pen/pencil holder, it would open. Terrible design and now I am having to order a different storage clipboard. Hopefully I will have better luck in my next choice.

This Officemate storage clipboard holds your forms just fine. The problem is when you handle it. There is a rubber strip on the side which is most likely to help keep it from sliding, but it is made of a blue rubber material that turns everything it comes in contact with to blue.

I volunteer for the American Red Cross and that is why I purchased this item. There are many forms you need to have when in the field at a disaster, so rather than carry a binder I thought this would be more helpful. Truly it does keep the paperwork handy and gives you easy access to your pens, etc.

The problem is when you carry it, because of this piece of rubber not only do your hands turn blue, but if it, and it will, comes in contact with your clothes they also are stained with this blue ink material. It took me hours to get the stains out of my shirt, jacket, and backpack. I keep rubbing and cleaning the rubber strip, but the blue just keeps transferring to whatever I use to rub it.

This company needs to change the strip to something that will help with the slipping, but that will NOT stain everything it comes in contact with.

I am in the process of trying to remove the strip, but it will be less work to toss it out!. Thanks for listening.
