2.0 out of 5 stars Good for the Anecdotes, If Not the Recipes
First, my biggest beef with this cookbook is that it has no index. (What kind of cookbook has no index??) Second, it bears little actual relevance to the show, other than the anecdotal trivia that Kasey Rogers (AKA Louise Tate) supplies, having been a former cast member.

If you are a Bewitched collector, this may be of value to you, but as a cookbook it is a...

4.0 out of 5 stars Delightful, July 19, 2000
This review is from: The Official Bewitched Cookbook: Magic in the Kitchen (Paperback)
Reading this fun cookbook brought back alot of childhood memories of Samantha , Serena , Endora , Uncle Arthur , the whole gang. I found it quite fun and entertaining with silly titles and quotes from the show. If you are any kind of a Bewitched fan then this is a good book for your collection of memorabilia.I wish Bewitched could have gone on forever [it still does with reruns from Nick at Night] as we need constant reminders of the magic that we all behold no matter how big or small.

5.0 out of 5 stars No Kitchen Witch Should Be Without This Book, April 27, 2000
This review is from: The Official Bewitched Cookbook: Magic in the Kitchen (Paperback)
Kasey Rogers creates a great piece of Bewitched memorabilia with this book. I loved the closure that she gave to each of the main characters of the TV show with her little "biographies." It's chocked full of great pictures, show trivia, and even an episode guide. The recipes are practical and appealing--I can't wait to serve ice cream in the chocolate bowls made from balloon molds--yummy!

5.0 out of 5 stars What a Bewitching cookbook, December 20, 2011

If you are a Bewitched fan, you will adore this book. It is well written, and very entertaining. As a child growing up I loved watching Bewitched. Reading this book took me back. The book is divided up by the shows character. Along with the recipes it has triva, great photos and fun facts about the show.

I condsider myself lucky, as my copy was signed by the authors Kasey Rogers (aka Louise Tate 2) and Mark Wood. It also had Sandra Gould's (Gladys Kravitz 2) autograph.

Like another reviewer said, we all need a little magic in our lives.

My mom was really into Bewitched her whole childhood up to now. She has got me hooked on Bewitched as well, so I just had to have this little treasure! It is in very good condition considering it has been used, better than what I had expected! I love to cook, so I'm hoping to be pleasently surprised when I start cooking up this magic in my kitchen!

If you are a Bewitched collector, this may be of value to you, but as a cookbook it is a great disappointment. Much as I love the show, I ended up getting rid of my copy of this book, simply because it was worthless in my kitchen, and I am not a collector of the show's memorabilia. It collected dust once I had read through it, and I don't miss it on my bookshelf.

1.0 out of 5 stars Loise Tate the second cashes in with this garbage, July 1, 2000
This review is from: The Official Bewitched Cookbook: Magic in the Kitchen (Paperback)
As a quasi-famous TV personality, Kasey Rogers, who played the second Louise Tate on 'Bewitched', has written a bafflingly insignificant book cashing in on the strong residual popularity of a television classic. The book is filled with inane, contrived information she herself has invented about the show's cast of characters and the actual recipes our dubious authoress has included are impractical and hardly what anyone would genuinely consider making. In short, Ex-TV star with to much time on hands writes drivel.
