4.0 out of 5 stars Worthy Superhero
This book is great - we finally have a 'superhero' worthy of praise! Bibleman fights evil villains such as "Doubt" "Fear" "Misery" and Fury". Bibleman always defeats the bad guy. As he says "If we don't show you kids the enemy, then you won't know how to defeat him!" WOW! Practical advice for our kids with a great...

1.0 out of 5 stars I'm outraged
I saw this product yesterday in a Christian Book Store for the first time. I was surprised to see Christians imitating secular world creating a new violent/aggressive action figure and trying to let others believe that this is God's and Jesus' teaching. But what REALLY made me angry was to see that one of the evil character's name is "El Furioso", "The Furious One" in...

Practical advice for our kids with a great message in a form that our kids LOVE. I have four children under the age of 7 and they think Bibleman is cool. Bibleman is a superhero I am more than happy to encourage. This Collector's Edition introduces each character to us in a way that is exciting for our children and obviously is the beginning of bigger and better things to come. I look forward to continuing the adventure with Bibleman.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bibleman is Fighting Evil, July 10, 2003
This review is from: The Official Bibleman Collector's Edition (Paperback)
This book introduces you to Bibleman - a fighter for Spiritual truths & integrity. It is NOT (as the last review states), an imination of the world. That Rev. hasn't seen the videos, I suppose, because if he had, he'd understand the deep commintment Bibleman has on the Word of God. Bibleman fights using the word of God on his tounge & dressed in a modern-day type superhero outfit that has the names of the Armor of God. When he fights, he always gives God the glory at the end, and just because some of villins he fights with have spanish names, has nothing to do with being racial. There are spanish, black, white & Asian children in his videos. Bibleman is just a vehicle to be used to show the children of today that we are at war with evil everyday & need to know God's Word & rely on His Spirit to fight it. It's just all about teaching children Spiritual Warfare for today, in a more up-to-date approch.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bibleman speaks the language of little boys, November 3, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Official Bibleman Collector's Edition (Paperback)
I am not sure what the reverand saw, but I can say that Bibleman has my 5 year old explaining pride and rage to me in detail. He is being taught who God is - on his level by a good role model. bibleman says in the videos, only God is the real super hero. Bibleman has taught my son some wonderful and hard to grasp concepts. He teaches them in a way that adults may think is hokey, but kids are the target audience, and the creators of bibleman know and understand who they are trying to reach.

I saw this product yesterday in a Christian Book Store for the first time. But what REALLY made me angry was to see that one of the evil character's name is "El Furioso", "The Furious One" in Spanish. Now Christians are not only trying to sell violence to children as a good, but also teaching that if someone's name is in English, is ok; but Spanish is evil. I thought we were suppose not to be conformed to this world. - Rev. Walter Acevedo-Olivencia
