Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

My dad is the stamp collecting in our family. He has had me searching for interesting stamps for years, and it's fun for me to work on this book and get some "inside" information that I can share with him.

This book is especially great for novice stamp collectors like myself. Its information on how to find, buy, sell and preserve stamps makes getting started in the hobby easy. 4.0 out of 5 stars The best US Postage Stamp Price Guide I have bought so far., September 4, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Official 1999 Blackbook Price Guide to United States Postage Stamps (Paperback)
This book is very, very useful. It has information about selling your stamps, how to remove them from paper (or if they are stuck together) and more. It even has a listing of both Stamp Clubs and Organizations all around the world and it includes there addresses as well...I like this book also because you do not have to know that SCOTT CATALOG # to find the value of your stamp. All you have to do is go to the illustrated area where it shows pictures of the stamps, look for your stamp and then it will tell you the catalog number to look for and you just flip a few pages, scroll down until you find the catalog number and wham...you have the value of your stamp right there.
