Ted Hake founded Hake’s Americana and Collectibles, the first auction house to specialize in 20th century American popular culture, in 1967. His early initiatives were a major force in establishing collectibles as a major passion for millions of Americans. Hake produces books, sales lists, and auction catalogues from his hometown of York, Pennsylvania.
