From School Library Journal
YA As an adjunct to their popular radio show, Dr. Science and Rodney have produced a book. These two members of the Duck's Breath Mystery Theater have given pseudoscience a new twist. Questions, fabricated or sent in by listeners, are answered. Thumbnail sketches of the great: ``If Plato were alive today he would be Phil Donahue'' and other subjects such as the universe, light, electricity, and evolution are the basis for readers' education. Introductory material includes a disclaimer statement, bibliographic information on Dr. Science and Rodney, and notes ``To the Teacher'' (``Teaching science is no occupation for a grown person''). Supplementary material provides an appendix of other miscellaneous ramblings and a glossary of laughable definitions. Students can employ this book to have a zany scientific adventure, use their imagination, and accept the challenge of living. Anne Paget, Episcopal High School, Bellaire, Tex.
