5.0 out of 5 stars Great little HANDBOOK to read
I saw you on TV last week and got a copy of your HANDBOOK at your book signing at the Hard Rock Cafe. First things first, The party was GREAT. I heard that you were friends with the mayor of Philadelphia and that I had just missed him by a few minutes but that he masticated the food. You also had one of the nices guys on TV there, but was very shy with me, WHY ?? (John...

My own personal opinion is this is not a well-written handbook. As many of us people know, this book shows the end of the world is nearing. With content that is passes as Sci-Fi. The pictures that consume about 1/2 of this lengthy handbook. It is no wonder that there is such little text. Ther are much better books out there for those of you who would like to get...

I heard that you were friends with the mayor of Philadelphia and that I had just missed him by a few minutes but that he masticated the food. You also had one of the nices guys on TV there, but was very shy with me, WHY ?? (John Bolaris) NOW to your book. The pictures are great and it was very easy to read the handbook as if it were a periodical, but it left me wanting more information. GOOD JOB, I usally don't care much about celebrities, but your handbook put an illuminating way to meet celebrities. It was nice to have met you in person but don't become to notorious, or is it that imperative for you.

In the way Gene Siskel woudl say, "Thumbs down"

4.0 out of 5 stars This book is cut-and-dry and tells you exactly 'how'., February 25, 1999

Your pictures are worth a thousand words. It was great to see this book included authentic pictures as well as text that was not verbose and runny. It was easy to follow and understand on a lay person's perspective. Maybe your next book should include more personal experiences with celebrities and what they are like from an insider's point of view. I was impressed to read tasteful imformation rather than the trashy tabloid gossip.

You have put a new spin on the way I like to meet celebrities. Your whole approach to meeting celebrities without being obnoxious is perfect. I no longer feel or have any apprehensions to saying hello and asking for a keep sake picture. By the way, your kinda cute.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jerry's book is a "MUST HAVE" in every personal library!, September 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Official Handbook to Rubbing Elbows With Your Favorite Celebrity (Paperback)
Jerry's book is extremely comprehensive, fun and inspirational! I learned some great tips from it! I have Jerry to thank for introducing me to Mayor Ed Rendell, who later invited me on stage with Hollywood icon, Mr. Gregory Peck at the Marian Anderson Awards in Philadelphia! Plus, I used Jerry's tip to call ahead for an invitation. Believe it or not, it actually worked! I contacted M. Night Shyamalan, Director of "The Sixth Sense," and he sent me a personal invitation to the world premiere in Philadelphia for his movie. It was a real honor to be there because I was also IN the movie! Bruce Willis' kiss hello said it all!!! BUY THIS BOOK AND THE NEXT PERSON WHO KISSES YOU MAY ACTUALLY BE A CELEBRITY!

Very well assembled, easy to read. This book explains in detail how to meet and greet celebrities. Before reading this book I would never have been able to meet these people but this book gave me the encouragement I needed. I now see that even celebrities are people just like us. Thanks for the push I needed to meet the people I admire.

Having met Jerry in person one could tell that he is a down to earth person. You would think his head would be in the clouds, however Jerry is a straight forward, funny human being. Smoke a cigar with him, and he'll share a story. He deserves all the success with this book.....now BUY it. It goes to charity!!!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun Read, November 5, 2011
This review is from: The Official Handbook to Rubbing Elbows With Your Favorite Celebrity (Paperback)
Some very interesting tips and some really fun stories. As the book says - they want to be treated like your neighbor, do not gawk, take pictures, ask for autographs.
