Information about US coins in this book is easy to find, easy to understand. It contains some background information about each series, but not enough. I find myself using the Red Book more often.

everything you need to know about coins. The only hassle is the abbreviations for the quality indicators. The charts can be a little difficult to decifer.

This issue is all fine and good as a list of coin prices. However, the price charged for this sort of information is much too high. The quality of the printing is about 1/2 step above a photocopy of magazine print. Many of the coin's details are not discernable except in magnified sections. Most examples could not be used as a reliable comparison to determine one coin from another in many sections of the book. Some magnified details are fine.
