Good with one flaw.
This toy looks great and fits in great with any collection of Simpsons toys except for one problem. The sound on mine didn't work. I put batteries in and made sure everything was fine and still no sound. So it looks great but isn't perfect.

Cute gift for a Simpson fan...except...
I purchased several Simpson products for a diehard Simpson fan's birthday. They were all a hit but I saved this one...the "Homer Movie Mayhem Figure" for him to open last since it's the only one I'd bought that had sound. When he saw what it was, he grinned from ear to ear so I knew it was a hit. But then I gave him the batteries to put into it since I didn't know what...

I purchased several Simpson products for a diehard Simpson fan's birthday. They were all a hit but I saved this one...the "Homer Movie Mayhem Figure" for him to open last since it's the only one I'd bought that had sound. When he saw what it was, he grinned from ear to ear so I knew it was a hit. But then I gave him the batteries to put into it since I didn't know what all Homer said and I wanted to hear before my friend left. He put in the batteries and...NO SOUND AT ALL! And they were fresh, brand new batteries! So VERY disappointing! As far as my friend was concerned, it's ok since he will just add it to his Homer collection on a shelf in his office, so it will just set there. So if you're looking for a a Homer gift item that's going to look really cute and add to a collection, any Simpson fan will love having it, especially since it does have all the other characters to go with it if you wanted to add those. But it sure doesn't live up to what the advertisement for it says...and frankly, that's the only reason I went ahead and ordered this particular item because the other two I bought didn't have a sound feature. So I was really looking forward to hearing Homer speak since it would be a highlight of the birthday lunch I prepared for my friend. Disappointing that it didn't work! So if you're interested in buying it, I'd ignore the part that says Homer speaks because he doesn't! So DON'T buy it for the sound...because there isn't any, it's defective on that and it really ticked me off! I actually had seen another review of this product that mentioned there wasn't any sound...but I figured it was probably just a one-time glitch and surely the one I ordered would be fine. It wasn't!
