In a well-paced style, it covers the basics, including setup, navigating and searching the Web, sending and receiving e-mail, and utilizing Usenet newsgroups. About the Author

Shelley O'Hara (Indianapolis, IN), a freelance writer, has written more than 60 books. She is author of the first edition of Official Netscape Beginner's Guide to the Internet and coauthor of Official Earthlink Beginner's Guide to the Internet. She has written nine bestsellers in the Easy series. In addition, O'Hara is a trainer for the Division of Continuing Education Studies at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
