Amazon.com Review
At first glance, this book's size may be a bit overwhelming, but it is full of useful information that will help you feel secure on your newfound surfing legs. In a well-paced style, it covers the basics, including setup, navigating and searching the Web, sending and receiving e-mail, and utilizing Usenet newsgroups.
Official Netscape Beginner's Guide to the Internet also features useful information on finding Web commerce sites, getting financial information and the latest sports updates, using the Internet for research, and even building personal Web pages. There is also a useful listing of shareware sites and URLs for computer companies. Overall, this is a very strong choice for Net newcomers.
