It's...a wheel. Works great with MarioKart or any racing game for that matter. However, I do feel I was mislead by it's title as a "Comfort Wheel". I assumed it would be different than any other plastic wheel, with some sort of padding or grip for your hands but nope, it's just plastic. Nothing comfortable about it.

This is NOT an "official" wheel. Shipped in cheap plastic. No any "Official Nintendo seal". Smaller than real official Nintendo wheel.

Okay, I have three different race wheels and this is the best of the three. It tops the one that comes with the game. I would rate the one that came with the game the cheapest of the three. I have to be honest here even though this is the better of them, there is not that big a differance. Go with price.

It works great, good fit, no problems. I just don't like the feel as much as the original, but it's still good for the price.

Although MarioKart is perfectly playable with the controller, this steering wheel shaped plastic frame helps visualize what you're doing. I think it helps my folks and probably older players in general. The game comes with one wheel, so if you want to equalize the experience for Player 2 this is a fine though not essential product. You might prefer to put that $10 towards another game though.

This was purchased for my four-year-old Granddaughter to use with the Wii Lightning McQueen Game that she also received for Christmas. She loves holding it, and the only problem with the wheel and the insert is that she has trouble reaching her thumb over to push the button to make the car go, it slips off.

Of course, just give her a few more months of growing, and it will be fine. My daughter and son-in-law both use the wheel just fine.

In case you aren't aware, these wheels are small and light, to make holding them easy. There's a hole in the back for the wristband to go through, and it slips through easily.

Works Super ... And loads of fun. Made the game much more real for my granddaughter. Of course her idea of fun is crashing the cars off the side of the track and having them turn over ... but games are supposed to do what we (not Wii) want them to do. :-)

The Pink Official Nintendo Wii Comfort Racing Wheel is awesome! I just love it. Yes it doesn't have any padding on it but it is extremely comfortable to hold in your hands and it does have several anti-slip areas in just the right places. My whole family loves it and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially real gamers or anyone who may spend hours playing Mario Kart. It is a very responsive wheel that helps with quick, tight turns, fast maneuvering and speed, which leaves you with a great advantage.

Another thing I noticed was how smoothly the controller fit into the wheel as compared to other off brand wheels. So it fits very nicely, no pushing or pulling equals less wear and tear on the controller.

We will definitely buy the other brilliant colors (blue, black) of the Official Nintendo Wii Comfort Racing Wheel!

I have two of these; a black and pink one. They work great for Mario Kart and Sonic Sega All Stars Racing. You don't need a wheel to play those games but once you've played with one I can't imagine playing without it. It's debatable if these wheels are an improvement over the included wheel with Mario Kart but it's certainly not any worse. I like the thumb placement with the racing wheel opposed to the full circle original wheel.

This wheel makes Mario Kart very fun, although it's kind of a pain because you have to take the jacket off the controller to insert it into the wheel. Kids would definitely enjoy it more, because it makes it feel more real. I just use the controller and hold it sideways like it was in the wheel.
The wheel definitely makes it more realistic.

I bought three of these steering wheels for the wii so when we play racing games it would be a lot easier. I am glad I did. They are easy to use and really do help with steering in the game. I like how the wii remote just snaps/rest in place right into the wheel.
