This review is from: The 2002 Official Parent's Sourcebook on Pituitary Tumors (Paperback)
Most people (lucky for them) have no experience with pituitary tumors. In fact, even many people who have pituitary tunors go to their graves (from other causes) without ever knowing that they had them. Almost half of these tumors are now discovered as "incidental findings" when a patient is given a CT or MRI scan for some other reason. Once you have the diagnosis howver, you really need some guidance as to your options. This book will help you find that guidance and help inform your opinion about an area that the average family doc is not very fluent in.
