Medical treatment of Myelodysplplastic Syndromes is an area undergoing rapid change, so a gap of eight years is significant. Otherwise I would give this book five stars. ICON publishes similar books for virtually any disease you can think of, so a lot of the contents are boilerplate, but it's intelligent boilerplate basically dealing with research techniques and sources. The core of the book consists of a discussion of the specific disease and research sources applicable to that disease. All in all, an excellent book and certainly worth the price. |
