the best for those who have struggled into old age with RLS, April 25, 2009
This review is from: The Official Patient's Sourcebook on Restless Leg Syndrome (Paperback)
At almost 70, I am an unhappy survivor of RLS. Ihave tried just about every thing, including medicatiom, and The Movement Disorder Clinic at a Local Hosp. Thanks to this book and 2 wonderful, listening Doctors, I have been in a good place for 3 weeks. This book helped all of us figure out where I was, where I am , and (sadly) where I am headed, as there is NO CURE. I do have hope that there are still things to try. I wish there were forms to be copied, that I could take with me for routine, and not , surgeries, for the Doctors, nurses, and other staff. At 83, my Dad had a heart cath., which could have killed him, because of the legs. He did not have access to the knowledge we now have. There may be a cure, but , I may not be around. But there is hope, and sometimes sleep. GREAT BOOK
