This "source book" does put a lot of internet information together, but it is really weak in discussing Transverse Myelitis and its associated problems.

I was hoping to obtain much more information from patients, doctors, and others, that would help me better understand and help my daughter through her upcoming trials of Transverse Myelitis.

This book lacks many needed details regarding the TM disease and its associated problems, and is therefore a waste of money, unless you just don't have time to look up the same information on the internet.

Its saving grace is, however, its reference material under one cover.

A lesser charge for the little information is what one actually needs but does not get with this book.

In my opinion, you should save the money and build your own internet reference list, for that is about all you get for the dollars paid.

The book is fine for what it was. I think I was expecting information about the disease that I could use to cope with it and educate my family. I didn't realize that it is just a guide to research it yourself, which I already figured out.

Bummer, but fine if you're new to the internet and need that kind of help.

This book on Transverse Myelitis is full of worthwhile information to help better understand the illness.
