There is so much advice about face-to-face interviewing, resumes and cover letters, and other activities that relate to the job search, but virtually NOTHING about telephone screening/interviewing as part of the process. The advice in this book covers how to master the telephone interview -- and has other applications -- for example networking phone calls. This is well worth the time and money!

This quick and easy read taught me, not only how to do well on my phone interview, but also provided helpful hints about interacting in professional settings. Everyone in today's job market should read this book!

I have found that more and more employers are screening job candidates via a phone interview. You only have one chance to make a first impression, this book was a huge help to me and definitely prepared me. This was an easy read and each section has practical useful suggestions. Things I had not considered such as eliminating background noise, using a landline without call waiting and what "not" to say. There are dozens of other useful facts and ideas. Best investment I could have made. Thank you to the author for helping me get the job.
