This handy little item is a genuine set of thumb cuffs - this is NOT play cuffs or a cute piece of jewelry, it's the real McCoy! Unlike handcuffs, thumb cuffs are smaller and easier to transport. They are lightweight, but made of steel and are not easily broken. Also, the way they lock your thumbs together makes them less comfortable than handcuffs and more restrictive.

This particular item comes with two keys, and can be "double locked." That is to say, they can be placed on someone's thumbs, and then locked in place so that they do not become any tighter. The way they open and close, they can restrict any thumb size out there, so one size definitely fits all.

OK, where do I start? If you are already into BDSM, you will find these to be a great item, restrictive and rather intimidating in appearances. But, you MUST have absolute faith in your partner, as these things to no have quick-release button, and cannot be removed without help. This is for real bondage.

If you are just starting out into BDSM, then I would NOT recommend these. Like I said, they require a lot of faith in your partner, and if they are locked on too tightly, your thumbs will be in danger. Plus, who can forget Stephen King's Gerald's Game?

So, I recommend this item to those heavily into BDSM and who want some really restrictive cuffs. I do not recommend it to those just flirting with BDSM.

Product is fine, but I do not think much of their customer survive, that SUCKS! They charged me way over on S&H almost half the cost of the order and all three (3 different cuffs) items were shipped together in a small box. There was no reason for the way inflated charge on S&H and I wrote to them and asked for a partial refund which they refused! BE AWARE OF INFLATED S&H JUST BECAUSE SELLER SELLS THROUGH AMAZON DOES NOT MEAN IT IS A GOOD CHOICE!

Thumb cuffs are very dangerous, if you wear them loose they can slip off and if you wear them tight your thumbs become numb and that is very dangerous! so i advise people to use handcuffs they are way much safer. these thumb cuffs are made in Taiwan so the quality is not like S&W. these thumb cuffs have a double locking system you can see it under the key hole, there are two key holes one is for releasing the double lock and the other is for opening the thumb cuffs, (Alice in wonderland) made a very nice point about BDSM, i advise not using thumb cuffs in BDSM, you may harm your partner without knowing.as i said stay with handcuffs, S&W don't make thumb cuffs because there not a good idea for restraining.
