4.0 out of 5 stars A New Guide!, December 12, 2007

This review is from: The Official Price Guide to Mechanical Banks (Paperback)
This is the first guide on mechanical banks since Davidson's Penny Lane book of 1988. Heavily illustrated with wonderful color pictures it is in paperback form rather than hard bound, but the smaller size (9.25" x 6") makes it easy to carry around with you to shows, flea markets, etc. Has a tiered grading system with relative prices and covers a number of banks not present in previous standards books in this field. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Official Price Guide to Mechanical Banks, April 30, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Official Price Guide to Mechanical Banks (Paperback)
This Price Guide published in 2007 is not only a joy to read, but appears very accurate as to test for bank condition, and saleability. The color photos are helpful for making a wish list of your future banks to collect, and for identity of those you own. This book is packed with lots of helpful information, not just mearly pages of words.

Definitely a must have even if you own one Mechanical Bank. I would like to see more detail about repair of banks, but maybe that's another book.
