I didnt find this book perfect--but I have yet to find the computer game help guide that is. This book DID give a very good overview, mission by mission, of "Mob Rule", and how to solve those missions. It also gave me an insight into the AI of Mob Rule. It doesnt give any cheats, and that is a shortcoming of many help guides. It also gave some helpful hints in solving the many problems you encounter during the game. And the book is humorously written. All and all a good help guide

This strategy guide comes quite handy for those beginning to play the game. Despite a decent job covering the descriptions of various characters and objects, the guide misses some of many important details and events that may affect gaming strategy. I applaud its effort in giving a general overview of each mission and walkthrough of general strategies to help you achieve mission objectives, but there are things that occur in the game which can change the strategies, yet these events are not covered by the Guide. In some instances you follow the Guide's advice but things don't necessarily go the way as it predicts in the strategy guide. For example, at the start of a new mission the Guide assumes you have all the money to go along with its strategy to build this and that, but what if you are dead broke from the last mission and can't take anymore loans? The guide makes many assumptions that you're always doing well after following its strategy, and that isn't always the case. Moreover, some of the boxed tips and advices are pretty obvious even for a beginner. Other than being a little simplistic and general, I do like the guide because it offers a pretty good overview of the game. Advanced gamers looking for a deeper coverage of gaming strategy should probably look somewhere else. Nevertheless the guide is helpful for the beginner, and I recommend this to those who aren't that serious about the strategy aspect of the game.
