This book is supposed to be a companion to the The Official SAT Study Guide - 2009 Edition. I drove myself crazy trying to match up the answers in this book to the questions in the study guide. Finally, I went to Van Tsai's site: [...], and found this bit of information: "...NO, we aren't trying to trick anyone. Nobody knew that the SECOND EDITION was coming out in August 2009. The Solutions Manual you have right now is NOT useless.." He then proceeds to explain how you can salvage SOME value out of the book by matching up 7 out of the 10 tests to the Solutions Manual. Aside from the obvious fact that you are now getting at best 70% of what you thought you were paying for, it's actually much worse than that because the three tests not included are the only actual tests from the "New SAT". So the three most important tests are the very ones that are not included in the book! I'm as understanding as the next guy, but I don't see how the author of a book that purports to be The "Official" Solutions Manual (complete with the matching lettering and color scheme of the College Board) can be so out of touch that he doesn't know that a new edition is coming out BEFORE the Solutions Manual. Further, once he became aware, both the author and publisher should have pulled the book. Finally, the description on Amazon should have been updated to accurately reflect what the manual is and is not. BAD JOB!!!
