An Invaluable Guide
I have read many books about Sybase, but this is the one I refer to most along with the Performance & Tuning Guide. The book is very easy to read and I particulary like the FAQ type format, which makes it easy to find the answer to your question(s). Each answer goes into alot more depth than you get in your standard DBA handbook. I have and will continue to...

It needs to be edited
There are many typos in this book and when dealing with very technical issues it is very important to have a reference which is correct.
