I'm buying this book every year, just to know what the prices on the market are. It is my bible when I want to sell or to buy a guitar. Most of the most famous guitars are listed but if not, I also have the "Blue Book of Electric Guitars" and many others.

This is the ultimate guide for buying or selling a musical instrument, especially a vintage one.

Great introduction on how to use this guide. Easy to access information layed out in alphabetical order. Dollar values seem to be more accurate than most other publications. Also has independant dealer directory, as well as manufacturer's contact information. I use this guide many times each day. Dollar for dollar this guide is one of the best values on today's market.

This guide is THE standard in determining current values on vintage instruments. I buy it every year.

I usually buy each years "Price Guide" so I can keep up with the vintage guitar market. The book is well written and easy to use. I like the format of the book. Very complete for mainstays such as Gibson, Fender and Martin. I do wish that more models were included by certain manufacturer's (i.e. Rickenbacker, Gretsch, etc.)

I would recommend the "Price Guide" to any guitar enthusiast.

Must have in determining the value of most any used or vintage guitar you are planning to buy. However, these price estimates are a bit inflated due to the current state of the guitar market. On boutique guitars around less 20+% with others probably coming in at even lower market values. This is the guide that Git Center and others use to determine pricing on their used instruments. I estimate trade in values at around 22-25% less than these prices. Anyway, this is a guide so do your research and go for that holy grail you've always wanted!
