5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly What It Wants To Be March 8, 2014

This is just a snippet of life. A very short story about an isolated man -- isolated even from the Apocalypse that seems to surround him. Crisp prose and strategic repetition successfully create thought patterns in the reader reflecting the main character's mental state. Almost like an apocalyptic prose poem. You care about this man, or don't quite, almost, much like how he feels about the possibly crumbling world around him.

More About the Author

'Gremlin is one half Douglas Adams, one half Stephen King, one half Kurt Vonnegut, one half Chuck Palahniuk, one half Dave Barry, one half HP Lovecraft, one half Deity, one half non-existent deity, one half Harry Knowles, one half Kevin Smith, one half James Randi and three-fifths Oligarch of the universe. This staggering amount, approximately 610%, is only fitting for someone bigger than life, which is Gremlin to a T.'
