Product Description
Conveniently store food scraps in this odor-eliminating container before transferring them to an outside composter. The unit works great for egg shells, peelings, coffee grounds, and more. With our EZ-open Lid and handle, makes this a simple transport. In addition, the unit's tight-fitting lid holds a charcoal filter for odor-free use for up to 2-3-month. The container fits under the sink, but it's attractive enough to leave out on the countertop. The surface cleans quickly with a soapy sponge.

We purchased this for its attractiveness that would allow us to keep this on the counter and for its mechanism that would, hopefully, allow for single-handed operation when throwing out food scraps. Unfortunately, the mechanism was clumsy and did not always open or close properly. We ended up returning it in place of another brand that just has a top that lifts off.

I live in a really small condo and was worried about getting a countertop compost because of the look and/or smell. This however, works perfectly for what I needed. It looks great on the counter and with the filter and how it seals it does not have any smell. I live by myself and dump this 2x week and it's not even full. Great purchase and I would definitely recommend.

This is a great looking countertop compost receptacle, but the latch is faulty. It was temperamental from the start, but in the 3 weeks I've had it, it's gotten worse. It now takes me about 8 tries of delicately putting down the top to make the latch catch. I contacted the company via email, but have not heard back. As is, its been a waste of money, and will be a hassle to return.
