Great backpack, but maybe not for students with heavy loads.,

I've owned this backpack for a few years now and have gotten a lot of use out of it (trips, hikes, etc). It's definitely a sturdy backpack that will last you a long time. When it gets dirty I just throw it in the washer on the delicate cycle, then dry it on extra low. Comes out perfect and looking brand new every time!I've been back in college for about a year now and here's where my complaint comes in. Although the backpack holds my books, supplies, and laptop with room to spare, the shoulder straps could be padded better, and the mesh material on the undersides of the straps is too rigid. As I put the backpack on, that mesh material scratches my arms as though it's sandpaper, and before long, the straps feel like they're cutting into my skin due to lack of padding. If not for the issue with the straps, I'd say this is the perfect backpack! I love it's durability and simple (yet attractive) style. I'm looking for another backpack to carry to school, but I will surely keep this one around for general use! |
