As a frequent business traveller I was looking for a replacement for my laptop backpack which has worn out after 500K+ miles of airports and business trips. After much searching I settled on the Ogio Metro which has many positive features but one signficant drawback...

Good
- I like the idea of the separate pocket for the laptop, nothing else... I access this the most.
- The front pocket subdivided for accessories is great and very practical.
- The side pockets for mouse, jump drives, transformers are also well thought out.
- The bag is comfortable on one's back as the straps are wide.
- The MP3 and smaller accessories pockets at the top are EXCELLENT. Brilliant idea as they are very accessible.

Improvement Opportunities
- The main compartment is VERY big, but NOT subdivided. This alone makes the bag quite impractical. Despite all the electronic files one can not avoid having to carry papers/binders and this pocket is not subdivided effectively to hold papers in place. There is very small sleeve that is hard to access and will not hold more than about 20 sheets in their folders. Which such a big pocket a little subdivision would make it much more practical.
- Less of a nuisance is the fact that the handle is of soft neoprene-like material as opposed to harder rubberized material. Easier on the hand, but does not seem that it would last as long.

Overall I am satisfied with the construction quality. It was received quickly from Amazon so overall good shopping experience.

This backpack is exactly what I needed for high school. You would not believe how space-efficient it is! Some of my friend's backpacks stick waaay out and are completely full, yet mine (this one) still has plenty of space and doesn't stick way out. It has plenty of pockets, and the 3 I really like are the big one on the side that a water bottle fits perfectly in, and the 2 small ones at the top thzat both have access to the headphone slot. Would recommend this backpack to anyone and everyone.

This is the best backpack I have ever had, and I go through at least three a year. It is comfortable, spacious, looks awesome (modern but serious) and it is designed rather than just put together. All the pockets are the perfact size and in the perfect space. The zippers are strong, but easy to open and the material is pure quality. I'm not buying any other, I'll just keep getting this one as long as they make it. Maybe my next one will be the green one or the "Punk" edition - check them out, they all look great.

I am a professional woman who travels a lot and I am also working on completing my MBA. I struggle with finding a bag that looks good and is big enough to hold all of my necessities. This bag is perfect for me. It is not as "cute" as some of the ladies bags but those bags are not very functional for me. This bag allows me to take my laptop, books, papers, iPod, water bottle, chargers, and still have room for extras that I may need while traveling. This bag also allows me to carry my work and school items without looking like I have my whole desk stuffed into it. I highly recommend this bag if you need versitility and space. I have the brown pin-stripe which looks a little less masculine.

I purchased this backpack for my 17" laptop - which it said it would fit. After getting it home and trying it, it was clearly not designed to fit a 17" - maybe a 15" max. Overall quality was excellent and if I had a 15" laptop, this would be a great bag.

Very happy with this product. This is the 2nd one we've owned. 1st one lasted through 4 years of high school. This one is for college. It was so good we bought it a second time. Can't get any better review than that.

Fast shipping. This backpack is awesome! Very durable, takes some time to break it in though. Overall really nice backpack for the frequent traveler.

This is the best "portable office" for those who are on the go and want it all in one place and on their back! Rugged, logical, and with many options as to where to put what, a protected, externally accessible and functional computer slot, this has become my hands-down favorite. And this is my second OGIO metro. I bought one for myself and then another for my son!

I use this backpack for business travel. This has replaced my old briefcase style laptop bag and I will never go back. This thing has room for everything and then some. The special slot for the laptop is great and works nicely when going through security at the airports. I have fit a 15" laptop and an XBOX 360 in one bag (with all the 360 accessories needed). It was heavy, but I had plenty of room for everything.

If you need a bag that isn't too big, but has lots of room, this may be the bag for you.
