the first wallet I recieved would not stay closed.One call to ebags and a new one was on the way with a return slip.My credit cards are not damaged, money is safe and the large wallet does not move around in my back pocket.overall a great idea if you use credit cards.also you get a one year warranty.

I put my keycard in it and tried to open the door at work and this thing blocked it completely. I have not been gentle with it and there is not a scratch on it. Very well made. I currently have 8 cards in it (credit cards, license, etc) and 10 bills and it closes fine.

Looks sharp, fits well in the pocket. Don't expect to fit much in here, including actual money.

A Great credit card / ID case however.

I bought this for my husband for a birthday gift because the actual AlumaWallet advertised on TV had a 6-8 week wait time. I cringed at the price difference since the regular AlumaWallet was around $12 with shipping included, but I figured that I needed to deal with the price because his birthday was just a few weeks away. Initially, the product looked great. The color was perfect and we liked that it came in different colors as opposed to just the black and blue of the actual AlumaWallet product. One thing we didn't understand was the pockets...The product is taller than a standard wallet and touted as "Large" but the sleeves for cards were still short and the normal size for carrying standard credit cards. All in all, it just meant you had extra empty space at the top of the cards so really, there was no need for a "Large" wallet. When I ordered it, I thought that "Large" meant it was wider and would accomodate more cards. He didn't overstuff it...in fact, half of his cards wouldn't fit and he ended up having to downsize the cards that he carried! Within 2 weeks, it became apparent that the clasp was not very sturdy. It would pop open without being pushed. Then, it finally completely stopped working properly and refused to stay closed (even without anything in the wallet) within 2 months of giving the wallet to him. He used it despite the fact that the clasp didn't work reasoning that at least when it was in his pocket, it didn't matter...it stayed closed in there. Two weeks later, the hinge broke and he had to stop using it! I can't believe that I spent so much money on a wallet that broke and became unusable in 3 months! Save your money... We got the actual AlumaWallet that is advertised on TV after this one broke and that clasp was just as unsturdy and broke as well - no longer clasping shut... We went back to standard leather wallets!

In general the wallet is practical and complies with what was offered.

My comments that would make this an exceptional wallet are to make it a little deeper and to modify the clasp which is not the optimum for this application.

Apart form these comments I think this is an excellent purchase so far.

I ordered the Large Ogon RDID Aluminum wallet in black. I ordered the "LARGE" based on other reviews which said the standard size was too small. Well...to make a long story short, I had to remove a good 50% of my original leather wallets contents in order to get this one to close. Kind of surprising really. Can I do without that extraneous 50%? I guess but it was tough deciding which items had to go and which made the cut. Other reviews have questioned the hinge life and that concerns me too. If you overstuff it, that hinge will most definitely break. And at $40 a pop (the cost of a good leather wallet) it might account for a quick loss. Like I said though, time will tell. The wallet itself is very smooth and for now I'm keeping it in my rear pocket. It slides right in but I fear it may equally slip right out unnoticed. How it holds up in the rear pocket, again, time will tell. So far I'm fairly pleased but in the back of head I keep hearing this voice..."You paid too much"!

Great Wallet!

After constantly wearing out my debit card while carrying it in a regular leather wallet it is a welcome pace to see my cards and other items protected and dry. I spend many days afield hunting here where I live in all kinds of conditions and this wallet does the job. While it is not for carrying large amounts of cash (as if anyone does these days) it is perfect for all the personals, cards and a moderate amount of cash for emergencies. I would rate it a 4.8 and the best wallet I have ever owned.

I was exceptionally excited about this wallet--it's so slick and pretty looking. I was disappointed, however, by the cheap feeling of the clasp and the interior folders. It can't hold very much, and it certainly doesn't hold money very well--so much folding is necessary to prevent it from stopping the wallet from closing that it becomes a massive pain to deal with. The pockets on the inside appear to be glue in--mine have already started to detach. It is lovely to behold, but I am just waiting for it to come apart at its cheap plastic hinges. Additionally, if you drop it, it scratches easily.

If you're only carrying cards, it's all right. I wouldn't use it for anything other than that.

I use this wallet to hold small packets of playing cards as I am a magician. It works perfectly. It is durable enough to be carried in my back pocket and not get bent or twisted. It also keeps my cards dry as the humidity from caring cards in the pocket will ruin them. Great item. Highly recommended. It serves my purpose however I do think it is a little to expensive.

the best wallet ever. it works with everything i need. may seem a lil big but carries money perfect. other than being big its the best thing i have purchased for my money
