5.0 out of 5 stars Great case, but there are cheaper alternatives
I ordered an Ogon Designs case in the Chocolate color, and it is an outstanding case in terms of quality, usability, and style. It fits perfectly in my front pocket with no problem and holds all my key cards (8 to date) and several folded bills.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great wallet, BUT
I love the small Ogon wallet. I have a bad neck and shoulders and can't carry a purse. This goes in my pocket easily and travels everywhere I go.
I've pared down what I used to carry and don't find the size a problem. I love the colors! If all were that simple I'd give it 5 stars. BUT, I've dropped it on hard floors and each time the clasp has broken and I've had to...

I ordered an Ogon Designs case in the Chocolate color, and it is an outstanding case in terms of quality, usability, and style. It fits perfectly in my front pocket with no problem and holds all my key cards (8 to date) and several folded bills.

I also ordered a PocketPaq from eBags PocketPaq The Cache Wallet - Black, which has identical construction to the Ogon case. The PocketPaq is $29.99 vs. $39.00 (Ogon), has clear plastics inserts instead of black inserts (Ogon), and does not have any company markings. In addition, eBags offers free shipping for standard UPS ground, while Simple Luxuries charges $7 for the same standard shipping. The only reason I chose the Ogon case were the color choices; the PocketPaq only comes in Black and Silver.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my Ogon case. If you want to save about $16 ($9 for item plus $7 shipping) and do not care about the colors, then chose the PocketPaq.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice design, April 10, 2009

I purchased this "wallet" just over a month ago and I am very happy with it so far. I wanted the wallet because of it's construction which gives it the ability to block RF ID signals. I tested the wallet by putting my corporate ID card inside to see if it would truly stop the readers from getting a signal. It does stop any RF ID reader from getting a signal.
The wallet it set up and organized perfectly for credit cards and ID.
My only wish for improvement would be a way to carry paper currency in quantities of more than 3 or 4 bills without changing the design too much in order to keep it compact and convenient.

3.0 out of 5 stars Handy little item, but delicate plastic parts don't last., December 4, 2009

My husband and I both got one of these wallets in May. We love the concept and the style, but we are very disappointed in the durability of these wallets. After approximately six months of use, the plastic pockets in my wallet are splitting along their sides, and the plastic latch on my husband's wallet has stopped latching (it is not cracked or broken, it simply will not catch). We have both been very careful to carry a minimum of cards in the wallet and have not overloaded them or subjected them to unreasonable wear. We both find these wallets to be ideal and convenient, but are shocked at the fragile materials used, which shorten their lifespan. These wallets are expensive, and it is absurd to have an impact-proof metal shell with a feeble plastic latch and innards.

1.0 out of 5 stars Impractical, poorly built, May 11, 2011
While these look really cool, and are good at protecting (a few of) your cards, here are 4 reasons why males should not buy this wallet:

1. It does not hold American dollars well. You have to fold them multiple times, making it hard to close, so you essentially have a wallet that cannot hold cash.
2. The clasp breaks easily. Mine lasted two months.
3. It's uncomfortable to sit on (to be expected).
4. It's slippery. Both easy to drop, and can slide out of your pocket.

Save your money, and store it elsewhere.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poorly made, and not attractive, January 20, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this product based on Amazon's largely positive reviews. I understood that the plastic latch was unreliable, and I agree. More importantly, however, it seemed to me that most reviewers thought that at least the product was attractive, and I was surprised to find that the "chocolate" color looks more like cheap metallic imitation copper. Overpriced, unable to fit many bills, and not efficient in size.

I would only recommend this product, and then only with reservation, to complement an organization scheme inside a purse, not to use as a front pocket wallet for a man. Instead, google:

Flipside Wallet (better hard case), or
Waterfield Wallet (more efficient use of space for a front pocket wallet)

I have two issues with this wallet. One, it does no good what so ever to have a metal shell if you are going to secure it with a plastic latch. The thought is simply stupid. It is like having a safe with a glass door. One well aimed drop to the floor and the latching mechanism fails to catch. The other thing that bothers me is that it is not made of aluminum as the description might have you believe. The unit is actually constructed of plastic with an aluminum cover glued to the top and bottom. Had I known this before purchasing, I would have selected something else. Given these two issues, the unit is very much over-priced. I can see paying $30+ for a true aluminum case, but not this.

received item and it was of a pretty cheap quality. I have many cards. not only that, but only way to fit cash in is if you fold it in a tri fold. It doesn't close with all the cards I have plus cash. And when I do, I can feel the hinges slowly giving way. Returned it the next day. Don't buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great Case cheap plastic clasp, April 9, 2011
I purchased this wallet about two months ago. I was very pleased with the style. I enjoyed using the wallet. But I found that the clasp failed after about two months. The wallet would no longer close. I attempted to reposition the clasp and the thing broke off and fell into the wallet. I will never purchase this brand again.
