This is a lovely book for keepsakes and baby memories. It starts out before baby is born, takes you through the birth and first few days and into baby's milestones and first haircut etc.

It has pockets for memorabilia and places for photos and lots of empty pages to write your thoughts and feelings. It even gives special places for dad to share!

Plus the book itself is adorable with colorful pages and an overall adorable look to it. What fun!

Definitely the nicest choice I've seen! This book has a clean, simple, fun design that basically stays out of the way and lets your baby take center stage. Too many baby books are fussy affairs that impose their own restrictions on you. Another plus, for non-Christian parents: no pre-printed sections for baptism, "baby's first Christmas," etc. Most supposedly secular baby books assume the family is Christian...a baby book with a lot of blank pages about Christian celebrations can make a child feel like an outsider.

I purchased Oh Baby!: A Journal as a shower gift and what a success! All the moms loved it and wanted to know where they could find it. We all loved the illustrations and look and feel of the book. The headings for the sections were perfect and there is just enough space for everything but not too much so the task of filling it in isn't too daunting. Especially unique are the envelopes and folders to hold things; my favorite is the catch-all one at the end called "stuff". I agree with one of the other reviewers - fun and hip!

Oh Baby! is THE BEST baby book. I have searched everywhere for the perfect baby book. I had one that I got at my baby shower that has one line for everything. It didn't have any place for notes or month by month records. I found this book at Amazon and was sceptical when I ordered it. When I received it I wanted to jump up and down and scream for joy! It is that wonderful.
This book has a page for family history, (just lines) for notes about meals, first bath and bathtime rituals, first teeth. It has a page for mom and dad to write a letter to baby, there is even a couple of pages that have a place for each month notes up to 12 months. If you want to record things about the hospital or your shower, there are pages for that. There are pockets for keepsakes and almost every other page has a place for a picture. This baby book has everything imaginable in it, even stuff you wouldn't hink about puttin in it!

The "Oh Baby" book is absolutely beautiful and stands out from the rest of the baby books/journals in terms of its quality and uniqueness -- in fact it's so nice that I'm also giving it as a baby gift to friends. It is extremely attractive and sophisticated looking. It has almost a handmade/artsy look to it, complete with high quality, thick pages, colorful illustrations and fun wording, plus interesting pockets for keepsakes such as baby hair, photos, etc. I just wish that "Oh Baby" had matching photo albums!

This baby journal is simple and quick to record the baby's information in. I purchased this book when my daughter was 3 months old and was able to quickly make it current with her age. I love the milestone pages because it reminds the parent what milestones to be watching for. It's a nice baby book for any parent who wants to keep record of their baby's developement, but who doesn't have tons of time to do the recording. There will be no horrified stares at blank pages in this baby book.

I have purchased and completed four of these journals for my 4 children... and just purchased my 5th book for baby #5 who is due in 5 weeks... I love the simplicity and thoroughness of this journal!!

This is my second child and I wanted a baby book that didn't make me gag. I find most of the other ones to be totally overdone. This one is simple and open-ended letting me record all of my thoughts. I'm online buying a second one for a girlfriend who just had a baby.

The book is modern, clean, minimalist and elegant. While I liked the space for Dads to write, I didn't like that it had so many lines for each section. The book is very free-form. Great if you're used to journaling, not so great if you don't write regularly on the topics of family and memories.

I got this book because I didn't like the "traditional" baby books. I like the layout and design but wish there was more room to write the details of the monthly milestones. Also, it would be nice if other sections like eating and clothes were divided by age so that you don't fill up the page with just one moment.

I loved this baby book except for one thing... it assumes the book is for your first born. I bought this for my second child - and there aren't any spaces for sibling information! Otherwise - a beautiful, great baby book!!
