I received this book as a gift while I was pregnant with my daughter who is now a little over 2. My daughter really enjoys this book--it's one of her favorites for bedtime reading. She likes looking at the pictures of the babies and enjoys pointing to certain ones and describing the pictures to me by saying things like, "Baby Cry" for the picture of the baby crying, "Bubble" for the picture of the baby taking a bath, or "No No" for the baby that is getting into her mommy's purse. I skip over some of the text because it's kind of strange like (bear with me since I don't have the book in front of me): "After baby has a meal, she has a bowel movement. She works very hard at it. It is important business..." Sometimes it's hard to tell if this book is aimed toward entertainment for kids or instructions for new parents. It's a little too wordy for kids and is kind of patronizing for parents. Most kids will likely enjoy it for the same reason that my daughter does--looking at the pictures of the kids.
