Oh, Baby! (A Touch-and-Feel Book)

I was given a copy of Oh, Baby! by the author because my then two year old is featured in this book. My daughter, however, had absolutely no interest in her picture, but continually enjoyed the page where she could lift the cardboard door surprising everyone with the puppy displayed behind it. This book features many interactive pages from the satin feel of a blanket to the fuzzy pom-pom on the front of the book. The daughter of a coworker actually bought this book while on vacation and returned to tell me how her children loved this book. She initially had no idea of my daughter's involvement with this book prior to purchasing it herself. I would recommend this entertaining book to anyone who would like to begin reading to their child at a young age. The pages are kept to a simple sentece per page and the book is interactive for the child to enjoy while being read to.

My son received this book as a gift when he was about a month old. It's hard to imagine a book that attracts the attention of a one month old, but this one did! The moveable mobile has wonderful contrasts that caught his eye when he was tiny, and now that he is 14 months old, he loves to grab onto the mobile (it has withstood some serious abuse and has never ripped off!). Same thing with the "mirror" page - he could see light flickering in the mirror when he was a young infant and now that he is older, he loves to see his own face smiling back at him. We have about 150 children's books in our home and this one is definitely in the group of about 10 books that my son continually selects. I had never heard of this book before we got it, but now I recommend it to everyone.

I was very disappointed by the low quality of this book. The pictures are not as good a quality as other books and textures available to feel in the book is very limited. There are so many great touch and feel books on the market I would recommend other books like the "That IS Not MY..." series by Fiona Watt.

My son who is ten months LOVES this book. He is very curious and loves to touch and feel EVERYTHING! There was only a few things that I found wrong with it. The page that has scratch and sniff flowers doesn't really smell. Also the page with the mobile on the string can be easily pulled off. Even with that said I would still recommend this book to all the curious babies out there. My son loves it!

This was the first book we bought our grandson, when he was only 3 months old, and the mobile caught his attention right away. He's now 17 months and it's still his favorite book, along with 'Night Night Baby'...he loves the combination of the baby faces and the touchable interactive features.

We are on our second copy of this book. The grandkids loved the first one so much we had to buy a new copy for the newest grandchild!

This was my son's favorite when he was an infant. He loved all the pages, especially smelling the flowers and opening the doggy door. Since then I have bought it for many other babies I know. I think it is adorable.

It's a cute book and my son enjoys it. But the pompom on the cover is a choking hazard. It seems to be glued on very well, but my 1-year old son managed to yank it off and of course it was headed for his mouth (but I was right there so no problem.) And scratch and sniff doesn't work. I peeled the label but there is absolutely no scent underneath.
