I stumbled onto this product at the Oh Boy! Oberto factory store in Seattle this week. I had driven by it for years and finally stopped to take it in. It is a temple to jerky. They were, amongst many other products, selling the Queso Jalapeno Steak & Cheese products in unmarked 16-oz bags for $6.99 per bag, so I bought a bag -- end products I think they noted (must have been something cosmetically less than perfect, but I would never know). They are spicy, but not too spicy, and are in no way greasy. They contain five-times as much protein as carbohydrate, and are quite low in fat, so are, in my book, quite healthy. Combine a bite with a dried cranberry or tart cherry for a low-carb faux-pemmican experience. These will now be a staple in my home.

I'got this because I been craving beef jerky for a while and for less than $7 a box it was worth a try. In my opinion, the jerky is a bit too greasy and not as flavorful as I expected to be. It just tastes kinda crude.

All in all, I would not recommend it. Perhaps a diff flavor would've been better.

These are a cut above, with a wonderful flavor and the right amount of chewy texture! These are truly yummy & better than most beef stick products that I have tried.
