Donald Kaasch has a voice that is one of the most mature and fearless on the market today. He is truly talented and is even more wonderful live in an opera or concert. These art songs are a wonderful showcase for a gentle side of this operatic star who tends to play masculine heros on stage. What a joy to listen to! Be sure to have plenty of tissue stocked, because this is full of emotion and beautiful poetry.
