I loved the Shirley Temple CD, Oh My Goodness. All of the tracks sounded just like they did in the movies. I especially enjoyed the songs Animal Crackers in My Soup, Codfish Ball, and When I'm With You. I recommend this CD to everyone of all ages.

This had become one of my favorite CDs. The song clarity is wonderful and sound just like they did in the movies. With a large variety of songs from 'Baby, Take a Bow' (Stand up and Cheer, 1934) to 'Lay-De-O' (The Blue Bird, 1940), you can see how her voice has matured from a talented, young, tap-dancing five-year-old, to a dramatic actress/singer at age 12. From impressions of Al Joelson and dancing with a dummy of Fred Astaire, to singing on the radio and aboard an airplane, this little star will make you S-M-I-L-E, for animal crackers and lollipops.

Oh My Goodness! EVERY song on this CD is in the 60 song, 3 CD box set "Stand Up and Cheer" except for "Fifth Avenue" and "Lay-De-Oh", but those two ARE in the 51 song, two volume compilation, "America's Sweetheart"...

So, if you will ever want to own all of the songs from Shirley's movies it would be much better to buy those other two sets.

this a great quality CD! Shirley temple songs make me feel happy! I love this CD! The sound quality is great!

I was sadly disappointed in this CD. Yes, the songs sounds just like they came from the movie -- tinny, a lot of background noise, hard to hear every lyric -- in short, not the clear, crisp quality CD I was expecting to get. I wanted to use one of the songs for a tap routine in a dance recital but the song was cut short on the CD. So even though I would possibly use this CD for fun in my younger tap classes, I would not be able to use it for a performance. The sound quality is just too bad.

I LOVE the nostalgia of Shirley Temple. I took tap dance and singing lessons because I loved the way she did what she did and she was SOOOO cute. I memorized and sang along to each song I could find. My best girlfriend had some of her albums and they served as a great source of clean entertainment during my youth (70's). I was looking to re-capture some of the warm fuzzy memories of those days as I browsed the CD offerings here on Amazon. Much to my embarrasment I stumbled accross some TOTALLY RACIST LYRICS contained in "Swing Me an Old Fashioned Song". I Quote " In the evening by the moonlight you can hear those DARKIES singing" Amazon.com SHAME On you. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on this site and I am truly offended that you chose to include that part of that song in your music samples. I will NEVER "EVER" spend another cent on this site and I will beg all of my friends to do the same. You owe all of your African American customers a HUGE apology. I am totally put off by this. At one point shopping on this site was my salvation. Now I am ashamed and offended.
