4.0 out of 5 stars A Nice Attempt
This was in my disc player for 3 months. It is a good Industrial attempt, beautiful lyrics and overall good music.

Well, I'm not sure what to say about this one, really. Of course, the best song ever written, "Oh My Goth!," is here, remastered (though I really can't tell the difference). The remixes are good if you're a trance/dance fan, but they really don't fit the mood of the original song. Other than the original song, I would say the best thing about this cd is the...

2.0 out of 5 stars Title track the only thing that saves this EP, and that's even questionable, August 27, 2005
This review is from: Oh My Goth (Audio CD)
The title track of this EP, "Oh My Goth!", is simply an awesome industrial song and almost justifies getting this EP just for it alone, but not quite. Too bad the rest of the songs on the EP, mostly remixes of the title track, are far from notable, and that's putting it kindly. The suppossedly remastered version of the title track has abominable sound quality, too, with excessive clipping that causes some harsh, bright artifacts to show up in the song that can make this song painful to listen to on a lot of audio equipment. This song demands to be cranked up but the clipping puts a damper on that. It's obvious the song was mastered only to be loud which is a shame because if it had decent sound quality it'd be so much more enjoyable to listen to. I don't know whether to blame Cleopatra Records, who consistently seems to come out with poorly mastered CDs, or Rommel Regulacion himself, although I'm more inclined toward the former. But nonetheless, I enjoy listening to this song a lot and it is one of my favourite industrial songs. The EP's cost doesn't justify getting it for one song, especially given the poor sound quality on it.

The remixes are good if you're a trance/dance fan, but they really don't fit the mood of the original song. Other than the original song, I would say the best thing about this cd is the cover of "Everything's Gone Green" by New Order. That seriously rocks! Overall, not something to buy unless you're an extremely hardcore fan.

3.0 out of 5 stars 1 Great song & several bad remixes, October 17, 2003
This review is from: Oh My Goth (Audio CD)
The new re-mastered "Oh My Goth!" is a great song and a must have for djing. My main complaint about the song is the actual quality of the recording (I see this very problem on a lot of RIB releases), you get a lot of high end. I find it really noticeable on the dance floor and I am always having to be ready to tweak the sound levels when playing this song. Recording quality aside, if you are a goth/industrial dj you really can't be without this song! Its great for the dance floor and highly requested.

The remixes I could have lived without, not one of the various remixes is worth any club play (unless your a house/techno dj maybe).

4.0 out of 5 stars DECENT, January 20, 2003
This review is from: Oh My Goth (Audio CD)
This was an ok Razed <in> black album. But i think it could have much better. There are six remixes of the same song so thats a negative, if want 2 get into some unusal techno this is for you. By no means is this a bad album but i dont think the people who are really into RIB's earlier work will like it.

2.0 out of 5 stars great song but bad remixes, August 23, 2001
This review is from: Oh My Goth [Vinyl] (Vinyl)
This is the worse Razed in Black release. I was terribly disappointed. The original track, Oh My Goth!, is a good RiB song but, except the nu-break version and the master remix, all the remixes are unispired. If boring trance is your favorite music style, you will love this disc; but if you want a good R<i>B disc, just check out the Sacrificed album.
