I bought this album seeing it on the employee picks rack of Vintage Vinyl St. Louis for no other reason than just feeling like it. Not living in St. Louis I was able to listen to the album in its entirety while driving back to my city. My initial reaction was horror at the random outbursts of (For a lack of a better word) noise, with almost no pattern, but as time went on I gradually began to see the album for its finer points (Foxy Boxer, or Mission Io Must Not Fail). Although Bearsuit was an acuired taste and very strange to the ears the first time around it is now a welcome part of my music library and I would recommend it to be part of yours.
