This author has spent years in the classroom and knows exactly what kids need. This book indirectly teaches a very important concept of behavior and choices. The illustrations are vivid and appeal to myself as well as my daughter. I would highly recommend teachers and parents purchase this book for their collection! Thank you Kalli for bringing such a delightful book to our children!

In meeting the author and being aware of her style of visually showing right from wrong, I highly recommend this children's book to help your children create visual metaphors in their minds that can guide them to success now... and in the future.

A quote I came across recently captures this book's essence excellently: "If I can help them visualize it, I can teach them the underlying principles."

Well done concept Ms. Kalli Reid... and excellent illustrations too!

I saw this book and met the author at a local event. I was immediately drawn to the concept of two choices--"good ones" and "not so good" ones. The book is both entertaining and practical for little ones just beginning to learn life's lessons and consequences. The illustrations are darling. I loved it, and so did my nephew age 5. A must have for kids--I highly recommend it.

As a mother and a montessori teacher, I found this book to be fantastic! It brings to a child's attention the most fundamental lessons in life and teaches them how to make good choices with a non-direct approach. My daughter was four years old when we got our copy and it has become a bedtime favorite. The illustrations are wonderful and complement the story beautifully. Since my husband's name is Keith, our daughter was delighted to find that Keith doesn't like to brush his teeth! Her teacher has since bought a copy for her kindergarten class. I think that every preschool and kindergarten classroom should have a copy of Oh No! Ah Yes!

I bought "Oh No! Ah Yes!" originally for my nephew who I thought needed some gentle guidance to make good choices. He has made good choices AND he loves the book! It has rhythmic verses and adorable illustrations! I purchased a second book for my friend's daughter who is six and she loves it too. Five stars all the way! It is my new baby shower gift to start kids off right. Thank you Kalli K. Reid!

I purchased this book for my 3 year old daughter. We have read it now every night for the past 3 weeks. She LOVES it. I actually asked if we could read a different book last night, sorry, and she cried and screamed. So I gave in. I even tried to skip a page one night in a hurry and she caught me and asked "what happened to Mabel!?"
It has great illustrations and it teaches children the right way to things after showing them the wrong way. WE LOVE THIS BOOK!

I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade for over 9 years. I have 2 children under the age of 4. Needless to say, I have waaaaaay too many books! However, Oh No! Ah Yes! Is a MUST HAVE for anyone working with young children. I love the format of the book, which clearly shows the right way and wrong way to handle many situations our little ones deal with including sharing, cleaning up, using manners, eating a variety of foods, etc.

The moment I read this to my daughter, she loved it and wanted to hear it every single night for weeks. Just today I was reminding her to make a good choice when she was walking away from the dinner table with food. She came back to the table and said, "Ah yes, Mommy!"

All of my teacher friends want copies and I will likely order a TON of these and use them for presents in the future. This book is perfect for teachers, parents, birthday presents, and even baby shower gifts!

Even though I have a huge personal and professional library of books for young children, this is one I could never live without.

You will not be disappointed if you purchase this book - it is a MUST HAVE! I love it!
