almost 5 stars,

I dusted this one off this morning and was amazed how many GOOD songs are here! I gave it four stars because there are two songs (in my opinion) that keep it from being a true 5 star effort. But that leaves 9 wonderful David Crosby songs...particularly Melody and Tracks in the Dust. Wow! Bonnie Raitt's voice soars up on Lady of the Harbour and other guest voices you will hear here are James Taylor, Graham Nash, and Jackson Browne. I'm glad I own this CD and I'll be playing it much more frequently. Give this one a try!

I loved David Crosby's album "If I Could Only Remember My Name"so I was looking for other stuff he did and while not the 5 star rating I would give to that album it is quite good.

This album, while not his best, still has some good songs on it - and Crosby fans will enjoy it.

I remember when this first came out and couldn't get past the terrible opening track. Just picked up a copy on CD to add to my CSNY collection and its got some great songs, Lady Of The Harbor, Tracks in the Dust, Melody. Still Drive My Car is shocking. I'd say half this album is good but the good songs far outway the bad ones. Always thought Crosby was the best singer in CSNY but was let down by songs this is a prime example. Crosby fans only......

Crosby's redemption songs: I Love it !,
By gil (france) - See all my reviews

It's so good to hear cleaver redemption songs. After Ten years out of control, lost in space, it's a new mature survivor Crosby. And he still knows how to do it with such classic songs as Tracks in the Dust, Oh yes I can and the great oppener : Drive my car (not the Beatles one).
Not to be missed if you love David Crosby !

The first song must be a joke, there's no way Crosby thinks this album is good.
