This is a great overview of oil and gas production for someone who has no oil and gas experience. I am a manager for a group of engineers at an oil and gas company. I give this book to all my new hires on their first day, if they have no oilfield background. They all say they learn a lot in a short time, and it is very helpful to their job. After the book, we go to the field and they are up to speed enough to ask intelligent questions about the facilities.

This book is highly recommended for beginners in oil and gas industry.. it explains alot about reservoirs with photos and colored sketches..
If you are new to Oil and Gas, you'll not be sorry if you spend you money on it.. Oil and Gas: The Production Story (Oil and Gas Production Series)
