This is a nice step by step for beginning landscape painters. There are seven step by step demonstrations, each with multiple color images. All are fairly simple, with the one shown on the cover being the most complex, and each discusses colors used. There are also three pages (4 color images each) illustrating tree, sky and land, and water color for differing outdoor conditions.Demonstrations are 1) Deciduous Trees 2) Evergreens 3) Meadow 4) Mountains 5) Clouds 6) Sunset 7) Pond This is a Dover revised publication of Landscapes In Oil by Wendon Blake and George Cherepov. The earlier version, often available used through Amazon, has three additional demonstrations - Hills, Stream, Snow and Ice |
