Ojos Asi is by far one of the best songs Shakira has ever recorded. The song has a middle eastern sound to it which features Shakira's amazing vocals in both Spanish and Lebanese. As a bonus to this cd, you can finally get the very hard to find and highly sought after Thunder Remix that has until now been only availible on limited edition promo cds. The Thunder Remix of Ojos Asi is an awesome club mix that still maintains the middle eastern sound of the original, however it is given a harder tribal sound that is perfect for dancing in the clubs. Overall I would have to say if you get the chance to buy this cd do it. It is an amazing song and like I said before this is one of the hardest to find Shakira remixes out there.

I strongly recommend you to buy this CD. The mixes are excellent and very original!!!! The rhythms are unique. If you are a fan, but a good one, you must have this material.

Let me put it in this way:

1. Ojos Así (Single version- 3:57)
This song is the one that all of us know. I noticed a difference at the beginning of the song. In this one, Shakira didn't use the "dumbek" which is an Arabian drum but is still being the same sound as the one she's been performing.

2. The one (3:42)
Is the same as the one that is in the CD of Laundry Service.

3. Ojos Así (Thunder Mix - 10:15)
Oh my good!!! The rhythm of this one is fabulous!!!! They use an instrument that sounds like a violin, the dumbek is used as well, and is really good. When I was listening to it I thought that this song is available not only to be listened but also to dance in a discotheque.

4. Ojos Así: (Mirage Mix 5:34)
In the beginning of this song there are Arabian sounds with a guitar and it is really cool.

5. The one (Video 3:40)
The one everyone has seen on tv.

In summary, fans who don't have this production have their collection incomplete!!!! So, go ahead and get it as soon as you can! You won't regret.

If you love the song Ojos Asi you've got to own this single!
The single version of the song is awesome the music sounds a little different than the original version but its still the same great song.
The thunder mix is awesome, great to dance to,very upbeat, just an overall great mix!
The mirage mix isn't as upbeat as the thunder mix but it still makes a great dance mix.
To make the single even better you get the lovely song The One along with the video! The One isn't mixed or anything its just the album version but if you've never seen the video you're missing out! This is a great single. Well worth the money!! I'm sure you'll enjoy the remixes very much!

I bought this cd single second hand through Amazon. To start with it was as described in perfect working order - no problems. The music itself is great including the remixes. I am a belly dancer so I bought it for the purpose of dancing to it. But I would also recomend it to anyone who is a fan of Shakirah or likes Gypsy/ middle eastern flavoured music

the thunder remix is awesome. it still has its chants of Ya hey. as you listen closely. you can almost hear it echoing. if you like dance music with a kind of ARABIC tune. i suggest you buy this cd now.

This is incredible! I love how the song all ready has an arabic backbone but this just pushes the limit! IT is amazing! Highly recommend to listen. It might take a while to get use to since some people do not have middle eastern music in their ears.
