this is the best small semi-pro printer ever! I bought it couple years ago at Office Depot in Florida (then they stopped selling it) and it was perfect for our small office where sometimes you need to print lots of copies (high quality). It handles a lot of copies per month and it prints fast. I moved to Baltimore and ordered it through Amazon after trying several laser printers from Office Depot and Staples. They can't even compare with the Oki.

Excellent color quality on graphs, charts and text. Not used for photo printing. Small footprint and not too tall so it easily fits in my office space. It is a little noisy for about a minute or so after it prints but then it quiets down. If I can only get it to go quiet immediately after printing, it would be perfect for me. Perhaps the support line could help. By the way they are local(U.S.), live and responsive.

This printer is relatively quiet and the print quality is excellent for documents and the speed is good. The toner cartridge is easy to replace which is refreshing since my previous printer, a Konica Minolta, gave me a fight every time. Photo printing comes out a bit too dark, though. I have Windows Vista and the software would not autorun but emailed OKI support and they sent good instructions the next business day. Altogether, a very nice printer for the money.

I purchased this printer at a discount as it had been a store demonstrator model. I had never had an OKI printer and was very skeptical about what I was getting. I have had this printer for about 3 years now and it performs as well today as it did when it was new. Print is very sharp and color output is excellent. Printing is very fast. I have printed as many as 350 pages at one time and it very rarely has a problem. On occassions I have found it to pick up two sheets of paper instead of one but this could be more the fault of the paper. I had to call tech support one time and the technicians solved the problem quickly and professionally. OKI has even called me twice just to see how I like the printer and to see if I was having any problems. It holds a lot of paper for it's size. OKI toner is expensive but I have found a place to buy toner for this machine that works just as good as the original at a greatly reduced cost. This printer has far exceeded my expectations and is reliable day in and day out. I highly recommend this printer to anyone for either business or home office. I can only hope that when I have to replace it, the new one will be as good at this one.

Very pleased with the performance of my OKI C3400N printer. When I purchased it, didn't realize it was an LED printer instead of a laser. The print seems to be just a little lighter than I'm used to from my previous laser printers. Also, my Konika print cartridges were good for 5000 pages. The Oki is either 2000 or 2500 -- can't remember. But that's pretty common from what I'm reading. Had some service questions on 2 occasions. The printer has been working great. I really like it. The tech persons were very patient and helpful, and they were easy to reach. This was a purchase I'm glad to have made.

I've had mine for about two years and can't believe I just changed black cartridges. The photos come out better than an ink jet, with no extra cost for photo paper. Just don't print something late at night because it takes an hour for the printer to go into idle mode. The vista drivers are available online.

Have had two of these printers in a home office. I used to reload my owner toner cartridges but its possible that caused the first c3400 to fail before its time at the two year mark (gears were grinding from over full toner cartridge overflow?). Now I'm buying non-OEM cartridges and disposing of them when they are empty. Works fine. I like this printer for the shiny ink. I'm a contractor and I print brochures for clients on 20lb ultra bright white paper. The brochures look great and I get a fair bit of positive feedback on the combination of heavy paper and bright shiny colors on the documents. The cost per page does add up and I won't let my grade school kids anywhere near it for printing for fear of going bankrupt. The C3400 is HEAVY, REALLY HEAVY. Don't know how much other lasers weigh, but this think feels like a tank - moving it is actually work. Have never had a jamb or mis-feed that wasn't my fault (wrinkled paper or label paper with a curled edge). Clearing the jambs was easy, but then you get to wait for it to warm up again, even it was all ready warm. Also takes a while to warm up out of sleep mode - guessing 20 to 30 seconds - and this seems like an eternity when you are trying to walk out the door to meet a client. Would consider buying another one just to keep the cartridges compatible.

The printer works well although I had a delay in setup because the supplied printer drivers did not include the Vista operating system.

I also have an issue with the toner level report. On installation the capacity of all tonor cartridges was 99%. On day two the black toner supply was listed at 20% and this has not changed. There were very few pages printed between these reports. Either the sensor is in error or the supply is not at the stated expected 2500 pages.

I received the printer promptly, and it was in good condition. The setup was fairly easy; I had difficulty setting it as default printer. After many attempts it finally accepted my directions. The printing is very good; color photos print quite nicely on ordinary printer paper. It will not print material that I have scanned on an HP scanner; I learned from Okidata tech support that this printer will not perform this function. Tech help is very good, and they speak English
