This review is from: Okinawan Karate: Its Teachers and Their Styles (Hardcover)
Literally a "who taught who" of Okinawan open hand and kobudo (weapons) teachers, their origins and lineage. If you want to know where an Okinawan style originated, or where it is today, this is a 'must have' for your karate library.

Mr. Silvan does an excellent, even-handed job of presenting the people and relationships in Okinawa's martial history. A great source book for any student of Okinawan budo.
