5.0 out of 5 stars Bag of Sheer Awesome,
That's what this diaper bag is fine crafted with. Not only does it have tons of storage, it has pockets that are the right size and in the right place. You know what I mean - you've got a pack of wipes and 6 diapers, and none of the pockets fit right? Not in this bag. My number one favorite thing about this bag is the diaper dispenser. Yes, dispenser. No more will you have dirty, crunched up diapers. I've got about 15 in the dispenser, no problem. There is a pocket designed for wipes. It comes with a plastic wipe dispenser, but I just buy the wipe pouches with pop open tops (not the tubs), and shove those in the dispenser. I can open the wipes without removing the package.
Here is what I have crammed in this bag as we speak. 15 diapers, package of wipes, six assorted tubes of makes up (lipstick, mascara, etc), giant wallet, gum, long sleeve outfits for my 2 month old, two year old, and three year old, one each, lotion, pacifier wipes, 2 pacis, two coloring books, two packs of crayons, 2 board books, two story books, 2 drinking cups for the older ones (open top), sunglasses, 15 disposable bibs, small first aid kit, comb, hair accessories, hand sanitizer, bottle of lotion, travel bottle of 409, 10 disposable changing pads, big changing pad (came with bag), empty bag for dirty laundry, and my nook. There is still some spare room in the top for a baby toy or stuffed animal. It also holds up to six 8 ounce bottles. Or, for me, four bottles with an ice pack. I have to take the ice because it's breastmilk, otherwise I could probably just cram my Dr Pepper in there, too. Best of all - this stuff is all organized, and I can put my hands on it without taking anything out of the bag. I am prepared for an afternoon away, no matter what.
There are two small things I can nitpick, in case the designers read this. It doesn't affect my 5 star rating, though. There is some wasted space in the top of the bag. I can set a stuffed animal on it, but it would fall out when I opened the bag to change the baby. If there were some kind of stuffable pouch, this might solve it. Second, the DVD front panel could be a bit more versatile. It is pretty flat, only big enough for a dvd player, and not even big enough for my wallet. However, I've got 2 small coloring books and 2 8-packs of crayons in there, so it is certainly not useless.
The bonus feature for me is the padded front pocket. It is the perfect size for my nook in its neoprene slip cover thingie. It's one of those things I don't always carry with me, because I don't feel it's protected in a diaper bag, but this pocket seems designed for something like this. I also like the elastic mesh pocket on the straps - perfect for my van keys. The outside elastic pockets are also tight enough that you can actually use them without something falling out. The bag also looks super easy to clean - just wipe it down.
I can't recommend this bag enough, especially if you've got several small kids. Mine are all 3 and under, so we need stuff. Lots of stuff. I definitely couldn't fill this for one child, but if you travel a lot, it would be great for the baby's stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommended!,
The organization in this bag is AMAZING. There is a pocket for everything! I can fit four 8oz bottles in the bottle holder. Love, love, love all the zippered and mesh pockets inside. We make our own baby food and found that our old diaper bag did not have enough room to carry all our regular items plus a few small bowls. I often found myself carrying the diaper bag, a cooler and my purse, plus a baby. I can fit my cooler inside this bag plus my wallet in the DVD pocket without any problems plus all the toys and blankets we need for a day away. It opens very wide, so no more digging blindly into the bottom of the bag. We can pack for a long day away all in one bag. This would be great for multiple children, or for the parents who like to over pack.
This bag was a little taller than I expected. It's a little large on my 5'2 frame. But, the bag itself is very light weight. Straps are well padded. Stroller straps work great. Amazing diaper bag! Well worth the price!

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed in quality and workmanship,
This review is from: Okkatots Travel Baby Depot Backpack Bag - Grey (Baby Product)
I'm a father of two small children and needed a durable bag to accomodate the things they need. I looked for bags that could handle sippy cups, bottles, formula, diapers, wipes, extra clothes, toys, coloring books, etc.
I decided on the Grey-colored Okkatots bag and felt that it would meet my needs.
The bag arrived today and I was struck by a few things:
1) The exterior material is very durable (Great!)
2) There are indeed lots of pockets (Good!)
3) The workmanship is poor and quality control wasn't paying attention (Terrible!)
4) Customer service (which I called immediately) was non-existent (Awful!)
My short video review shows three examples of the sub-par workmanship, particularly the stitching. I'm picky about these things because this bag was over $100 (at the time of purchase) and warrants better quality.
I do not feel that the bag would last given the number of times I'd use it.
I'm disappointed in the bag, will return it immediately, and will not recommend it to my friends.
Durable materials on the shell of the bag
Multiple pockets, including 2x outside cup pockets
Large, thermo-insulated pocket
The Customer Service phone number (1-888-988-6552 / 1-888-988-OKKA) was busy for hours at a time (I never got an answer)
Poor stitching in many places
Poor alignment of some pockets, including the one for the DVD Player
Single zipper openings (instead of double zippers for added convenience)

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT Bag!,
I've been looking for a Backpack Diaper bag for awhile but nothing was nearly as good at this. I wouldn't use it for every day as it is HUGE but for air travel it is AMAZING! Just be careful not to overstuff it as I did have a hard time getting it into the overhead of a small plane and under a seat on a big plane. I love how organized it is with MANY pockets so you can customize what goes where. I have a 6 month old and know I will be able to use this bag for years to come.
What did I get into mine? 14 diapers, a 40 ct wipes packet, 14 packetes of 4 oz formula, a formula dispenser (we were traveling in winter and wanted to be prepared if god-for-bid we were stranded!), 4 burp cloths, 5 bibs, 3 extra outfits for baby, tissues, washcloth, pacifiers, 2 receiving blankets, baggies, multiple toys, 4-9 oz bottles in the cooler pocket, a 16 oz water, my quart sized baggie full of liquids (tylenon, hand sanitizer, lip gloss, etc)and I used the right-side pockete as a "Mommy Pocket" for my wallet, snacks, chargers, etc. And i"m sure I've forgotten a few things too.
I do have a couple things I'd change:
1. Better zipper pulls. One of mine came off after the first use.
2. I want 2 zipper pulls on each pocket. You know when you stuff a pocket full and it's much easier to
close when you can zip from both sides? Well, only the big pocket has 2 pulls, none of the small ones
3. More colors please. This is a pretty red but how about basic black or brown?

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing for a mom of multiples,
This review is from: Okkatots Travel Baby Depot Backpack Bag - Black (Baby Product)
My twin sons are 17 months old now, and since they were born I have been searching to find the perfect diaper bag. I wish I would have had this from day one because it would have made my life so much easier! I originally purchased the Skip Hop Duo Double Deluxe because that was the one many moms of multiples recommended, but I found it to be totally unusable as it was pretty much just one big open space and so everything would get all disorganized and tossed around. Plus it did not have any insulated pockets! How do you have a diaper bag with no insulated pockets?! Anyway, I also tried a Graco bag and an Eddie Bauer bag among others.
Here is why I love this bag:
1. There is a pocket for EVERYTHING, literally. These designers clearly have kids, because they thought of everything. There are pockets for diapers, wipes, dirty clothes, clean clothes, pacifiers, food, utensils, cold beverages and/or food (insulated), and other pockets for whatever you'd like to put in them.
2. All interior and exterior pockets have either a zipper closer or elasticized closure so things don't fall out.
3. It is really not that huge, considering everything it holds. If you took the Skip Hop Duo Double Deluxe, for example, and turned it vertical, it would actually be bigger than this backpack, yet this backpack is a million times more functional. It is about the same size as a backpack a high school or college student would use, for a comparison.
4. I can fit everything my twin boys need for an all day outing INCLUDING my own personal stuff (wallet, cell phone, keys, makeup bag) and so I don't have to carry a diaper bag plus a purse. Everything is all in one convenient place, plus with all the pockets I know exactly where everything is so I don't have to waste precious time looking for something like a snack when my boys are screaming.
5. It is a backpack so my hands are free to do other things like wipe noses, look at products while I am shopping, hold one of my sons if needed. Also my neck and shoulders aren't killing me from carrying it around all day since the weight is evenly distributed, unlike an over-the-shoulder diaper bag. (Also since it is a backpack in a solid color, my husband is not embarrassed to carry it).
6. I actually have third child on the way, and even with everything I already have in this bag, I will still be able to fit whatever the baby needs should I have to take all three kids out at the same time. For example, right now the insulated pocket just has my boys two sippy cups in it, but I could easily fit two bottles in there as well. Also, I would use the diaper dispenser for the baby's diapers, but there is another pocket next to it that I could put the twins' diapers in. And so on....
To address a couple of the cons other reviewers mentioned:
1. Too big? See #3 above in my pros. I guess I would concede that maybe if you just have one kid then this is not the bag for you, or if you are just taking your kid(s) out for a quick errand and back home than it would be overkill. But I am a stay-at-home mom and my twins go just about everywhere with me, so I need something more substantial pretty much all the time.
2. Quality issues? I have had the bag for a few months, and never once has a zipper got stuck. I also don't have any tears in the stitching. As I said, I take this bag everywhere and it has held up great. Also easy to wipe down and clean off any spills.
3. Too heavy? I am 5'3" and 110 lbs, and I have no problem carrying this bag when it is full. Maybe it is because I have twins and so carrying two kids around has made me stronger, but really it is not that heavy and I really do load this thing up.
4. Not enough pockets? See my pros list #1. Side note - I do personal organizing for people as a side job, and so I am a person that has to have "a place for everything and everything in its' place." So if I think this bag has the perfect amount/arrangement of pockets to keep you organized, it probably does.
Just a final note - the DVD player pocket in the front is the perfect size for an ipad!
Anyway I just really can't say enough positive about this backpack!

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST baby backpack,
I have two kids under the age of two and this bag totes it ALL!
I have been through 5 diaper bags and none of them were big enough.
This bag is big enough and everything is SUPER organized inside and fits well.
The bag does end up being VERY heavy and it's a bit bulky.
But for the amount of stuff i need to carry, i will gladly take a bit of extra bulk.
It feels sturdy and I LOVE IT

5.0 out of 5 stars There is not one thing I don't like about this backpack,
This review is from: Okkatots Travel Baby Depot Backpack Bag - Grey (Baby Product)
*****Update March 8,2014****** This is still my travel backpack for baby. Still looks brand new. I still love it. My baby is bigger now and I can still put in so much of her clothes and toys in here. We have travelled 6 times with the backpack. There is a smaller version of this backpack for everyday use. Both of them are both sturdy and well made. **********
I must admit, I didn't think it would be such a big backpack but as the product says, it's a "travel" backpack. In the pictures that I have seen, it looks like there are many pockets and spaces in the bag that would make you "lose" an item or two but it's a very organized backpack. I don't think I will be using the DVD player holder (the bottom pocket zipper in the front), but I'll just placed my iPad in there instead of a DVD player. The pocket for the DVD holder seems small but it could actually reach up until the top first zipper in the front.
If you are facing the backpack, the left hand sided compartment is the insulated pocket to store bottles. I have Tommee Tippee bottles, which are fatter than regular bottles. I could fit at most 5 of them with the nipples and cover attached to each bottle. You could also place a drink or two inside I guess to keep it cool. Haven't tried to do that one yet though. The right hand sided compartment is just like a regular pocket that has mini pockets to place your items like spoons, forks and bowls for baby. You could also place pens, pencils or crayolas on this side.
When you open the backpack, you can open it all the way until the front falls down or just enough to where it opens like a book. There are two small straps with a clip on each on the top of the backpack so you could place the backpack inside a closet and hang it open like a book (or a mini closet within a closet) I have an Orbit Baby Stroller Travel System G2, Rubyand it has two hand handles instead of just one large handle to push the stroller. I usually place the backpack in the two handles and when I open it, I place the two top clips on each handle and open it like a book.
When you open the backpack, the left hand side has the diaper changing pad which looks sturdy. I haven't used it per se but it's better than the diaper pad that came with my JJ Cole Collections Diaper Caddy, Sweet Primrose. On this side, there are two small garterized loops.. I must admit, I haven't really seen a real use for them except to hang my Playtex Diaper Genie On The Go Dispenser. I just hook it up in one of them loops. There are three netted pockets. Two are on top of each other. I place a diaper rash cream on top and a hand sanitizer at the bottom. The third netted pocket is right in front of where the diaper changing pad is stored. I usually place small face towels in them. I probably could fit three or four when I roll them up small.
On the right hand side are the main compartments. There is a key holder that you can clip your keys on top. a plastic container which you can hold two pacifiers. There are two more of those netted pockets to place small toys or more small face towels. There is a small laundry bag that comes with the bag. You can place dirty onesies or dirty face towels in them. It also comes with a wipes holder area and a wipes case. I use the wipes case when I have a full unused wipes in my hand.. too bulky and it gets too heavy when the wipes are too much so I usually take a few and place it on the wipes case. At the bottom of the wipes case is a place to stack a few diapers. I usually don't stack too many so I won't be able to tell you the maximum amount of diapers it could hold. I think I've placed 8 or 10 and there's still space to put more.
In the main compartment, I've placed a toddler blanket, a swaddling blanket or two, an infant coat, 5 or 6 onesies and a baby towel with ease. When you close the backpack, there is a small space that is made and you can place a stuffed toy in that space before closing the bag.
Overall, I love it. I don't use it for everyday use but for traveling, it's a great backpack. It seems bulky even without items inside it but it doesn't get more bulkier. It actually looks the same once you fill the backpack as when it's empty.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm shocked at how much gear this holds!,
In search of the perfect baby travel backpack, I've looked at, and returned, quite a few. This one arrived today, and I am just amazed at how much stuff I could easily fit into it. It holds EVERYTHING I could possibly want to take on board the plane with me and my one-year-old (including a dozen little toys, a couple of bottles, changes of clothes for both of us, all the diapering gear, PLUS my laptop computer, my iPod, my PDA, my external hard drive, my phone, my camera... you get the idea). It also has two straps on the top that allow me to hang it from the handles of my stroller if I don't want to carry it (as long as my baby is in the stroller to counter-balance the weight). The materials and construction look very sturdy. The included changing pad is nice and large. I can't really see anything to criticize about this bag, except maybe to wish it had a waist strap to put the weight more on my hips rather than my shoulders. But, all in all, this is a very impressive piece of carry-on luggage!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing for over seas flights.,
I'm flying over seas with my son and this bag holds everything you need for a 4 month old. There are tons of pockets to hold everything you need or might need. I didn't want to get it at first, thinking a standard back pack diaper bag would be fine. I quickly realized that is not the case. A 40 hour flight with a 4 month old demands a ton of stuff!!
It comes with:
1. Changing pad- VERY THICK and soft. Super long. Super easy to clean. Fits in a couple different pockets in the bag.
2. Wet clothes bag- Big enough to hold a couple sets of outfits. Lined for no leaks. Easy to clean.
3. Pacifier holder- Velcro's to the side of the bag. Thick, flexible plastic material. Open on the sides for ventilation.
4. Wipes holder- Holds TONS of wipes! Has its own holder in the bag. Removable. Small zipper. Could be more convenient.
Diaper Dispenser- SOOOOO easy to load diapers in! You load the diapers through the zipper closure. Fits 16, size 3 diapers. super easy to pull diapers out. I suggest separating your diapers before hand so they don't stick together when you pull one out.
Lined bottle holder- Holds 6, 4 oz. bottles or 4, 8 oz. bottles. Opens very wide like a book. Could be used to hold breast milk or anything that needs to keep it's temperature.
Left side pocket- Holds plates, bowls, spoons, single serve formula (what I'm using it for)... Middle pocket is a little tight but still very useful. They're long pockets so not very good for short items.
DVD holder- Holds standard travel dvd player. There are straps on the sides to keep the pocket from falling open. Perfect for its purpose. The pocket goes all the way up the length of the back pack for more storage (books, DVDs, coloring books... anything long and thin)
Top pocket infront of bag- Pretty deep! I'm using it to hold my travel documents and such. Can hold a decent amount.
The bag its self- Has TONS of pockets!!! Two elastic hoops on the inside, perfect for linked toys. Thick metal clasp for keys or such. Big and thick zippers for easy open and close. Opens multiple ways (like a book, like a standard back pack or like a "tray"). Loops on the top for hanging on stroller or closet rod, are thick and sturdy. Very easy to unclasp and re-clasp. Mesh, elastic pockets on the outside are very strong and sturdy. Won't lose their elasticity through use. Plastic grips on the bottom to prevent sliding/slipping. The straps are thick and wide for comfort. one strap has a clasp, perfect for holding loop toys on the go. The other strap has a little mesh pocket for your ipod or small phone. The back of the bag is cushioned for added comfort. The bag, when empty is VERY light! Which makes all the difference for when it's actually full! The price is steep but, well worth EVERY penny!!

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST BAG EVER FOR AN ORGANIZED PARENT!!!!!,
I can't believe how much I love this bag. I read and read and READ reviews because the bag is so expensive. There were a ton of amazing reviews but then there were some that worried me. The bag is NOT too large for everyday use. I know I can be an overpacker but the way people described the bag was if it were too big and would weigh you down. It is NOT cheaply made. The only thing I would consider cheap about it is the pacifier holder. That thing is not going to last. Other than that the bag is AWESOME! I can get both of my kids NEATLY packed and still have room for me. That was my main goal. I didnt want an endless black hole type bag..I wanted one I could organize. If that's what you desire this is the bag for you!

Okkatots Travel Baby Depot Backpack Bag - Black by Okkatots
