To help celebrate Oktoberfest, or any occasion with a German flavor, we offer this wonderful assortment of four of our favorite German cheeses, including:
- Allgau Emmental: Commonly referred to as Bavarian Swiss, this is arguably the most famous cheese made in Germany. Made from pure Bavarian milk, it is high in protein and has that familiar, yet special flavor. (8 oz)
- Rauchkase: A smoked cheese typical of Bavaria. This specialty was originally produced by Trappist Monks in the abbey of Rotthalmunster. It is smoked over select beechwood embers, a process that lends Rauchkase its unique flavor. (8 oz)
- Butterkase: As its name suggests, Butterkäse has a buttery taste and a creamy texture that melts in your mouth. Produced in Germany, this one month aged, semi soft cow's milk cheese is a great partner to a refreshing pint of lager. (8 oz)
- Paladin Bavarian Blue: A tangy, crumbly blue cheese produced in the Bavarian Alpine countryside. Extremely versatile, you'll love it in salad; as part of a recipe; or on a cracker. (8 oz)

Ok. So i ordered this cheese set for Christmas. The packaging was very good, and I didnt even need to wrap it. We opened the cheeses and none of them were the cheese that were advertised, ok well they did say that they may substitute them. They were still similiar to what they had advertised. Once we opened them we were surprised to find that 3 of the 4 smelled horendous. Once again some cheeses will, we'll try and get past it. One cheese was so bad however that we almost got sick. I dont plan on buying this again for the price and what I got. If you like smelly cheese than you may like this. I cant say it was all bad, but not what I was expecting.
